Activity One- How good is your eyesight?
1. Select three volunteers from class (try to choose two students with glasses and one without)
2. Ask volunteers to stand in a line (20 feet from board), remove eyewear, and read the lines of the vision chart
3. Ask volunteers to step back to a further point if they can read all letters correctly
4. compare and contrast the vision strengths and weaknesses of the volunteers. Does nearsighted and farsighted play a role?
